Sailor Moon x Q-Pot moon phase pocket watch!!

I recently bought one of my dream items from the Q-Pot x Sailor Moon collaboration in Japan, and I uploaded an unboxing / review video of it last night! The item I got from the collection was the "Moon Phase Pocket Watch" necklace - this item is one of my favorite romantic pieces of imagery in the Sailor Moon story! My next favorite is the cutie moon rod in the manga since it was made from the combined love of Usagi and Mamoru! <3 I'm such a sucker for their love story... Anyhow, onto the photos and video!

 

 

Cinderella fangirling for a moment

The trailer for the upcoming Cinderella movie is finally out and I'm so excited about it!! I'm really looking forward to this film... The costumes are amazing, the story seems well thought out and its one of my favorite classic Disney stories!

That dress!!!! It's so gorgeous!! It reminds me of all the things I fell in love with about my wedding dress... I only wish I had added butterflies to it and glitter in my hair like the costume here, because it looks so lovely! Maybe I could add it and re-wear for Halloween next year?! ;D

Due to my excitement I wanted to make a fun little Cinderella appreciation post for me to geek out on for a moment...  I came across a lot of really neat Cinderella merchandise when doing research for my wedding theme and I also finally got my wedding photos last week - so consider this a warm up to share more Cinderelly inspired goodness soon! 

So here are some of my favorite Cinderella inspired things I've come across lately...

"Samantha Thavasa" from Japan has a Disney accessories line with some fantastic luxury Cinderella items! I'd love to have one of the wallets - they are adorable!

A few more items from Japan... This one comes from Tokyo Disney Resort! It's a beautiful silhouette of Cinderella on one of their collectible trading pins. I love how the design is so classic looking! I wanted to get this to put on my bouquet but I ended up scrapping the idea last minute... Here is a listing where you can purchase it along with the matching Rapunzel and Ariel pin. 

Gorgeous Japanese stationary from Etsy. You can get it here, here and here! I love the illustrations so much!!

A super cute book shaped iPhone holder. I found this one on Ebay! I like how there is a heart shaped folder flap inside and it even has a book inspired spine - such a cute design!

Right before my bachelorette trip to Disney there was a Cinderella dress (along with other amazing Disney items) released by "Black Milk" - check out the gorgeous promo photo below! I was so tempted to buy it so I could wear it on my trip but I didn't think a spandexy dress would be a good choice for humid Florida... lol

Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!

Ah, Fall! The most wonderful season of all <3 It's finally started cooling down and I'm so excited!! I always feel super energized and inspired during fall. I'm going to try to use some of those creative feelings to work on my blog for a bit since I have a lot I'd like to share!

Matter of fact, I got up super early this morning, made a cup of the above magical red velvet cake tea and just jumped in! Here are some of my plans that I"m working on:

Summer Adventures and turning 30!

This summer really zoomed by for me - It was so fast I really didn't have a lot of time for blogging or the internet! I wanted to take a second to talk about all the fun summery stuff that happened before I start gushing about fall being here now.

  

 

We had a really mild summer in Atlanta which was dreamy and unexpected. It's normally ridiculously hot from about June till October but we got so much rain that it was really only "hotlanta" for a month or so! Not bad!! 

This made being outside really enjoyable and I ended up celebrating my 30th birthday with outdoor adventures at my mom's lake house which is where the above swimming photo and below video were made! Chris made the video on his new gopro camera that can go underwater - It was so fun to test out and I hope next summer we can make more neat underwater adventure movies!!

I also had a joint birthday party with Chris in July (his birthday is July 2nd, mine is June 7th) and we called it Bows & Beers! It was a themed party around - you guessed it - bows and beers. There was a prize for whoever wore the most bows and the biggest bow! Here is what I wore:

It was a really fun get together and I was so impressed with the effort people put in with their bow-tastic outfits!! I took some photos that night but most of them didn't come out very well due to the lighting. :\! I guess that just means next year we need another fun birthday get together to take pics at! ;)

Turning 30 wasn't the only exciting thing that happened this summer though!

A few highlights:

• Summer mini trips - We visited our friend Dave in Charleston to sight see and relaxed with tasty snacks on the beach. It was so nice to catch up and gave me an excuse to test out my new camera...
• Yes - a neeeeew camera!! I finally got a really nice camera after many years of being indecisive about it, and I'm so glad I waited because its everything I hoped for! I look forward to sharing photos on here now <3

• The Skyview Ferris Wheel - this is a new tourist attraction that was set up in Atlanta and I went to ride it with my family!! It's such a pretty addition to our skyline!

• Starting cutelanta.com - I bought a new website to blog about all things cute in Atlanta and it'll be up and running soon! 
• Animal Crossing - Ahhhh ACNL <3 I still need to blog about this, I'm a big Animal Crossing fan and love playing it on the 3ds! 
• Lots of bike riding - we went to Atlanta Streets Alive twice, biked to lots of dinners and lunches, went on Beltline adventures... it's been great!
• Quit coffee - YES! I finally quit having a daily coffee fix and I feel amazing!! I decided to do this after having caffeine with-drawl migraines while traveling... And I'm so glad I did! Now when I have a cup of coffee it's a treat and really fun rather than a feeling of "refueling". I also feel a lot less stressed which is lovely!

 

I'm sure there were a ton of other adventures that I'm forgetting right now, but it was a really great summer and I enjoyed myself a lot!! 

Rilakkuma re-ment figures

The other night when I was watching Animal Crossing tip videos on youtube (I'm kinda obsessed right now - I'll write another post on that later) I stumbled onto a video of someone reviewing their Rilakkuma re-ment figures. 

I wasn't familiar with re-ment before this, but I love all things cute, tiny things and interesting toys - and when I saw these it was sorta all of that combined and one... and omg now I can't stop thinking about it! lol

I thought I'd share some photos I found on-line of the miniature Rilakkuma items from re-ment that I would like to collect:

This is the "Chocolate Cafe" series

And this is the "Cake shop" series! I think the Chocolate Cafe and Cake series would pair super cute together...

And then of course you'd have to get this display case to store all your delicious miniature pastries and cakes in... ;)

And what cafe would be complete with out table and chairs! I wish this was a real set of table and chairs you could buy for your home because I'd be all over that!! 

This is the "Aloha Rilakkuma" series which makes me super nostalgic about our trip to Hawaii last October!! I don't feel the urge to collect these items as much, but a few of them are pretty cute... Maybe if I do start collecting these I could pick up a blind box or two from this series.
